About
Lars Kleiner is a freelance web developer and enthusiast photographer based in London.
Though he owned a camera for as long as he can remember, Lars got more enthusiastic about photography in 2006 when he opened up a Flickr account and began sharing pictures with friends, family and quite a few people he never met.
An avid traveler, Lars has assembled a rich collection of photos from far flung places. He is particularly interested in landscapes, architecture and people. It strikes him how similar everything is wherever he goes.
Always interested in the technical aspects of photography, Lars now owns about ten cameras including a low fi Holga and a 4x5 large format film camera. The pictures presented on this site were taken on medium format film using a Mamiya rangefinder, a Rolleiflex TLR and a Rolleiflex SLR. They were scanned with an Epson flatbed scanner and carefully adjusted in Adobe Photoshop.
qwertz is the company name of Lars' freelance web development business. This site was designed and developed by qwertz using the Drupal CMS framework. You'll soon be able to find out more on http://www.qwertz.co.uk which is currently under construction.
